Apply to use our computing resources

The EFFICOMP Team has a computing cluster for research tasks called HPMoon, which belongs to the Department of Computer Architecture and Technology of the University of Granada. The cluster is located in the CITIC-UGR building, and has been funded with ERDF fund and some national research projects. Currently, it is made up of a total of 10 heterogeneous NUMA nodes interconnected via Gigabit Ethernet. Each node contains powerful multi-core CPUs , one or more GPU devices, and a wattmeter to measure energy consumption. Check out the latest HPMoon update here.

Who can apply?

Members of the EFFICOMP Team, external collaborating researchers, and students who need to carry out research work related to energy-efficient parallel and distributed computing. However, those users who are not members of the EFFICOMP Team will have the following limitations on their accounts:

  • A disk quota of 5 GB.
  • Lower priority and timeout when using computing resources.
  • Access expiration after one year from the moment the account is created.
