Why make a stay?
Although publications are essential in the research career, the stays measure the capacity of the researcher to learn new methodologies and integrate with different multidisciplinary teams. In addition, indirectly it also provides the following benefits:
- Publications: writing papers with another research group allows you to explore new topics and offers the possibility of future collaborations. It is also a prerequisite for obtaining some job positions and scholarships.
- Learn languages: if you come from an international center, you will have the opportunity to learn Spanish and enhance English, which will be essential in your daily life.
- Networking: making professional contacts and new friends is important since you never know when they can be useful to you. Also, the more people you meet, the easier and more enjoyable your stay will be.
- Travel: if all of the above is not enough for you, you can always use your free time for sightseeing and exploring new places.

It should also be clarified that we do not offer any type of funding, so the travel, accommodation, and living expenses will be your responsibility. Instead, we can provide you with an office at the CITIC-UGR research center, as well as access to the computing platforms necessary for the development of your work.
